Goldshell CK Box 1.05 TH/s Silent Desktop Eaglesong ASIC Miner for Nervos CKB

The Goldshell CK Box produces 1.05 TH/s of Eaglesong hashrate for
Nervos (CKB) mining at 215W and 205 J/TH efficiency. ±5 percent hashrate and power
tolerance. Single cooling fan at 35 dB. 175 x 150 x 84 mm at 2 kg. Universal 100 to 240V AC
through external PSU (not included). Ethernet connectivity. Goldshell firmware with mobile app
compatibility. Released July 2021 as the first dedicated desktop Eaglesong ASIC miner.
First generation historical context. The CK Box was Goldshell's first dedicated Nervos miner and
among the earliest desktop Eaglesong ASICs from any manufacturer. Before the CK Box, CKB
mining required industrial hardware or GPU setups incompatible with home environments.
Goldshell applied the same formula they had proven with the HS Box (Handshake) and KD Box
(Kadena): take a mining algorithm and package it into a 35 dB desktop device at universal
voltage. The CK Box proved the concept for Eaglesong, establishing the product line that
expanded into the CK Box II, CK Lite, CK5, CK6-SE, and CK6.
Single mode operation. Unlike the CK Box II which offers dual power mode (2.1 / 1.54 TH/s), the
original CK Box runs at a single operating point: 1.05 TH/s at 215W. No firmware selectable low
power option. The simplicity has a trade off: operators cannot reduce power draw during
marginal revenue periods the way CK Box II or BM-N3 Mini owners can.
Competitive CKB desktop positioning in April 2026. Goldshell CK Box at 1.05 TH/s and 215W
(this product, first gen, single mode). Goldshell CK Box II at 2.1 / 1.54 TH/s and 400 / 260W
(second gen, dual mode). iBeLink BM-N3 Mini at 1.8 / 1.3 TH/s and 295 / 185W (competing
manufacturer, dual mode). The original CK Box delivers the lowest hashrate but also the lowest
power draw and lowest monthly running cost. At $0.08 per kWh: CK Box at $12.40 monthly,
BM-N3 Mini at $17.01, CK Box II at $23.04. For operators prioritizing absolute minimum monthly
electricity expenditure on CKB mining, the original CK Box is the cheapest position.
Power draw advantage matters for certain operators. 215W draws approximately 2 amps at
110V. A standard 15 amp 110V residential circuit (1,800W capacity) supports eight CK Box units
(1,720W total). Eight units produce approximately 8.4 TH/s aggregate, exceeding the CK Lite
(6.3 TH/s at 55 dB) at whisper quiet collective noise. For operators building multi unit desktop
CKB fleets on a single circuit, the CK Box's low per unit power draw maximizes units per circuit.
Current economics. At $0.08 per kWh, daily electricity approximately $0.41. Revenue at April
2026 CKB conditions approximately $0.10 daily. Daily loss approximately -$0.31. Low revenue
per terahash on Eaglesong at current CKB pricing means the CK Box is a speculative
accumulation device at approximately $12.40 monthly electricity. The daily loss is roughly the
cost of a chewing gum pack. CKB's Binance listing provides a credible exit path for accumulated
tokens.
Physical specifications. 175 x 150 x 84 mm at 2 kg. Slightly smaller than the CK Box II (178 x
150 x 84 mm per most sources). Single fan at 35 dB. 5 to 35 degrees Celsius operating range at
5 to 95 percent humidity per Bitcoin Merch and MiningCrypto specifications. Approximately 733
BTU per hour heat output, negligible thermal impact. Ethernet connectivity through Goldshell
firmware.
Ships with miner unit, power cables, quick start guide, Goldshell 6 month warranty, and free
DDP worldwide delivery from MillionMiner. PSU not included per most distributor
documentation. Source a compatible external PSU (250W+ recommended) before deployment.

Goldshell CK Box 1.05 TH/s: The Original Silent Desktop Miner for Nervos CKB

The Goldshell CK Box produces 1.05 TH/s of Eaglesong hashrate for
Nervos (CKB) mining at 215W and 205 J/TH efficiency. Released July 2021 as the first
generation of Goldshell's silent CKB mining lineup.
The CK Box established what the CK Box II refined. Goldshell's CK Box was the first dedicated
desktop Eaglesong ASIC from any manufacturer, proving commercial demand for silent home
CKB mining. The CK Box II (December 2022) doubled the hashrate to 2.1 TH/s and added dual
power mode (2.1 / 1.54 TH/s). The iBeLink BM-N3 Mini (August 2023) entered the same tier at
1.8 TH/s with its own dual power mode. The original CK Box at 1.05 TH/s now sits
approximately half the hashrate of both successor products.
Where the original CK Box retains value. The 215W power draw is meaningfully lower than the
CK Box II at 400W or the BM-N3 Mini at 295W. Monthly electricity at $0.08 per kWh:
approximately $12.40 versus $23 for the CK Box II and $17 for the BM-N3 Mini. For operators
whose primary concern is minimizing monthly running cost rather than maximizing hashrate, the
original CK Box delivers the cheapest CKB mining position in the desktop ASIC category. At
deep discount pricing (first generation cleared inventory), the per unit capital outlay is also the
lowest.
Nervos CKB context. CKB trades on Binance, Crypto.com, and Gate.io. The Binance listing puts
CKB in a different liquidity class than most niche mining targets. The RGB++ protocol bridges
Bitcoin assets to Nervos for Layer 2 interoperability. The combination of Binance liquidity and
Bitcoin ecosystem development thesis positions Nervos differently from most altcoin mining.
175 x 150 x 84 mm at 2 kg. Single fan at 35 dB. External PSU required (not included). Ethernet
connectivity.

Často kladené dotazy

Nejčastější otázky

1.05 TH/s Eaglesong at 215W and 205 J/TH efficiency. ±5 percent tolerance on both hashrate and power. Single operating mode with no firmware selectable low power option (that was added with the CK Box II). This is Goldshell's first generation desktop CKB miner released July 2021, now superseded by the CK Box II at exactly double the hashrate.

CK Box: 1.05 TH/s at 215W, single mode. CK Box II: 2.1 TH/s at 400W default, 1.54 TH/s at 260W low power. The CK Box II exactly doubles hashrate and adds dual power mode. The original CK Box draws substantially less power (215W versus 260 to 400W) and costs approximately half the monthly electricity. For maximum CKB output, the CK Box II wins. For minimum monthly running cost, the CK Box wins at $12.40 versus $15.01 to $23.04 depending on CK Box II mode. If both are available at similar pricing, the CK Box II is the straightforward upgrade.

CK Box at 1.05 TH/s and 215W (single mode). BM-N3 Mini at 1.8 / 1.3 TH/s and 295 / 185W (dual mode). The BM-N3 Mini delivers 71 percent more hashrate in default mode and offers dual power flexibility the CK Box lacks. The CK Box draws less power in its single mode (215W) than the BM-N3 Mini's low power mode (185W) while still producing 81 percent of the BM-N3 Mini's low power hashrate (1.05 versus 1.3 TH/s). For the absolute cheapest electricity bill, the CK Box wins. For more hashrate with mode flexibility, the BM-N3 Mini wins.

At standard residential rates, no. At $0.08 per kWh: approximately $0.10 daily revenue, $0.41 daily electricity, -$0.31 daily loss. Mining CKB on the CK Box is a speculative accumulation strategy at approximately $12.40 monthly electricity. The daily loss is negligible. CKB's Binance listing provides a more credible exit for accumulated tokens than most niche mining targets. Low Power SC mode on other devices costs more monthly; the CK Box holds the cheapest CKB desktop mining position.

Nervos is a Layer 1 proof of work blockchain using the Eaglesong algorithm, designed as a security and settlement layer for Layer 2 scaling. Uses a cell model inspired by Bitcoin's UTXO. The RGB++ protocol bridges Bitcoin assets to Nervos for Layer 2 interoperability. CKB trades on Binance, Crypto.com, and Gate.io with meaningful liquidity. The combination of PoW consensus, Bitcoin bridge, and Binance listing positions Nervos differently from most altcoin mining targets.

35 dB from a single cooling fan. Inaudible from the next room. Consistent with the Goldshell Box series acoustic standard. The original CK Box uses one fan versus the CK Box II's two fans, both achieving 35 dB. Operates in bedrooms, offices, apartments, and shared spaces without detection.

Universal 100 to 240V through external PSU (not included). At 215W the PSU draws approximately 2 amps at 110V. Fits any standard residential outlet worldwide. No circuit planning needed. Monthly electricity at $0.08 per kWh: approximately $12.40, the cheapest monthly running cost in the desktop Eaglesong ASIC category.

No. The CK Box ships without PSU per most distributor documentation (MiningCrypto title explicitly states "Without PSU"). Verify with MillionMiner whether they bundle a PSU. If not included, source a compatible external PSU rated 250W+ with the correct connector. Some Amazon and distributor listings offer 750W PSU bundles as an optional configuration.

5 to 35 degrees Celsius at 5 to 95 percent humidity per Bitcoin Merch and MiningCrypto. The 35 degree ceiling means warm climate deployments need air conditioned space during hot months. At 215W heat output (approximately 733 BTU per hour), the CK Box produces less heat than most desktop computers, causing negligible thermal concern in any ventilated space.

Nervos (CKB) is the primary and by far the largest Eaglesong network. NiceHash Eaglesong marketplace provides an alternative selling hashrate for Bitcoin. No other Eaglesong networks currently attract meaningful mining participation. Unlike the HS series which mines dual algorithms (Handshake and Siacoin), the CK Box is single algorithm only.

Three step setup. Connect external PSU to CK Box and plug PSU into any 100 to 240V outlet. Connect Ethernet cable to router or switch. Find miner IP through Goldshell finder tool, router DHCP, or network scanner. Open web interface, configure Eaglesong pool URL and CKB wallet address. Goldshell mobile app supports iOS and Android configuration. Total setup approximately 10 minutes.

Major CKB Eaglesong pools including F2Pool, DxPool, 2miners, and SparkPool variants accept CK Box hashrate. NiceHash Eaglesong marketplace provides a Bitcoin payout alternative. Pool fees typically 1 to 3 percent. At 1.05 TH/s, pool mining is the only practical approach. Solo mining at this hashrate produces extremely infrequent block finds.

Yes. At 215W each, a standard 15 amp 110V circuit (1,800W capacity) supports eight CK Box units (1,720W total). Configure all units to the same pool and wallet. Eight units produce approximately 8.4 TH/s aggregate, exceeding the CK Lite (6.3 TH/s, 55 dB) at whisper quiet collective noise. The CK Box's low per unit power draw maximizes units per circuit compared to the CK Box II (4 units per circuit) or BM-N3 Mini (6 units per circuit).

Yes, with caveats. The CK Box is simple to set up (plug in PSU, Ethernet, configure pool), draws minimal power (215W), runs silently (35 dB), and introduces beginners to ASIC mining concepts (pool configuration, wallet setup, hashrate monitoring) at very low running cost ($12.40 monthly). The caveat: it is not profitable at current conditions. Beginners should understand they are spending $12.40 monthly on electricity to accumulate CKB tokens speculatively, not generating daily income. The Binance listing for CKB makes this a more practical first mining experience than niche tokens with limited exchange access.

Minimal. Quarterly dust wipe of the compact chassis and single fan grille. Monitor hashrate through Goldshell web interface or mobile app for degradation. No coolant, filters, or internal servicing. Released July 2021, units have nearly five years of field reliability data, among the longest operational track records of any currently distributed ASIC mining device.

MillionMiner technically accepts CK Box units, but hosting economics at 215W generating approximately $0.10 daily revenue make the arrangement impractical. Hosting fees would exceed mining revenue at any rate tier. The CK Box is purpose built for self hosted desktop deployment.

Three scenarios. Price: if the original CK Box is available at deep discount as cleared first generation inventory, the lower capital outlay may justify the lower hashrate for budget constrained buyers. Power: 215W is the lowest power CKB desktop option, costing $12.40 monthly versus $15 to $23 for alternatives. Circuit density: eight CK Box units fit on one 15 amp circuit versus four CK Box II units, useful for multi unit fleet building on limited electrical infrastructure.

Only in specific scenarios. This is first generation July 2021 hardware without dual power mode. It loses approximately $0.31 daily at standard electricity rates. Buy the CK Box if: it is available at meaningful discount versus the CK Box II and you want the absolute lowest capital and monthly cost entry into CKB mining, you are building a multi unit fleet and need maximum units per circuit at 35 dB, or you want a functional piece of Goldshell Nervos mining history. Check CK Box II availability and pricing first. The CK Box II delivers double the hashrate with dual power mode flexibility.

Direct upgrade: Goldshell CK Box II (2.1 TH/s, dual mode, double hashrate). Competing manufacturer at same tier: iBeLink BM-N3 Mini (1.8 TH/s, dual mode). Within Goldshell CK family for scaling: CK Lite (6.3 TH/s, 55 dB), CK5 (12 TH/s, 80 dB), CK6 (19.3 TH/s, 80 dB). For cross algorithm niche mining at same 35 dB tier: Goldshell KA Box (1.18 TH/s Kaspa), Goldshell HS Box II (460 GH/s HNS / 1,200 GH/s SC), Goldshell AL Box II Pro (950 GH/s Alephium), Goldshell KD Box II (5 TH/s Kadena). For Bitcoin at home tier: Bitaxe Gamma 601 (1.2 TH/s SHA-256).
