Default at 400W or Low Power at 260W. Drop electricity by 35 percent during low revenue periods while retaining 73 percent of hashrate.
Ceiling of Goldshell's silent CKB tier. Everything above (CK Lite 55 dB, CK5/CK6 80 dB) crosses into audible territory.
Nervos CKB trades on Binance with real liquidity. RGB++ protocol bridges Bitcoin assets to Nervos for Layer 2 interoperability.

Two modes. Default: 2.1 TH/s Eaglesong at 400W and 190 J/TH. Low Power: 1.54 TH/s at 260W and approximately 169 J/TH. ±5 percent tolerance on both. Switch through the Goldshell web interface or mobile app. The CK Box II doubles the original CK Box output (1.05 TH/s) while maintaining the same 35 dB silence. Low Power Mode was not available on the original CK Box.
Low Power Mode reduces to 1.54 TH/s at 260W, dropping power draw by 35 percent while keeping 73 percent of hashrate. Efficiency actually improves (approximately 169 versus 190 J/TH). Use it when CKB daily revenue does not justify 400W default draw. At $0.08 per kWh, default costs $0.77 daily versus Low Power at $0.50. During extended CKB bear markets, Low Power Mode stretches accumulation budget by reducing the daily electricity loss from approximately $0.59 to approximately $0.32.
Both target the same buyer at the same noise level. CK Box II: 2.1 / 1.54 TH/s at 400 / 260W. BM-N3 Mini: 1.8 / 1.3 TH/s at 295 / 185W. CK Box II delivers approximately 17 percent more hashrate. BM-N3 Mini is approximately 14 percent more efficient per terahash. At $0.08 per kWh, CK Box II costs $0.77 daily default versus BM-N3 Mini at $0.57. For maximum daily CKB output, the CK Box II wins. For minimum cost per CKB mined, the BM-N3 Mini wins. Both 35 dB. Both universal voltage. Both dual power mode.
Nervos is a Layer 1 proof of work blockchain using the Eaglesong algorithm. Uses a cell model inspired by Bitcoin's UTXO for programmable asset composability. The RGB++ protocol bridges Bitcoin's RGB protocol to Nervos, enabling Bitcoin Layer 2 asset issuance and smart contracts settling to both chains. CKB is listed on Binance, Crypto.com, and Gate.io, providing meaningful liquidity for mined tokens. Binance listing puts CKB in a different liquidity class than most niche mining targets.
Most niche mining targets (Handshake, Siacoin, Alephium, Kadena at smaller scale) trade on mid tier exchanges with thin order books. Selling mined tokens into thin liquidity causes price slippage, reducing realized value. CKB trades on Binance, one of the world's largest exchanges by volume. Miners can sell CKB into deep order book liquidity without meaningful price impact. This makes CKB mining a more practical accumulation strategy than many niche alternatives, regardless of whether the miner produces daily profit.
35 dB from the cooling system (Bitcoin Merch lists 1 fan, CryptoMinerBros lists 2 fans, verify fan count with MillionMiner). Inaudible from the next room. Operates in bedrooms, home offices, apartments, and shared spaces without anyone registering its presence. Same 35 dB standard as the entire Goldshell Box series and the competing iBeLink BM-N3 Mini.
External PSU required, not included with the miner per Amazon, ASIC Marketplace, and OEMminer documentation. OEMminer recommends 500W+ PSU. Amazon bundles a 750W PSU as an optional configuration. The PSU needs to supply the correct voltage and connector type for the CK Box II. Verify PSU inclusion with MillionMiner before ordering since MM lists PSU in box contents while most other distributors ship without. If PSU is not included, budget $30 to $60 for a compatible unit.
Universal 100 to 240V through external PSU. Default mode at 400W draws approximately 3.6 amps at 110V. Low Power Mode at 260W draws approximately 2.4 amps at 110V. Both modes fit any standard residential outlet worldwide. Monthly electricity at $0.08 per kWh: approximately $23 default, $15 Low Power.
At standard residential rates, no. MillionMiner calculator at $0.08 per kWh: -$0.59 daily in default mode. Low Power Mode: approximately -$0.32 daily. Revenue approximately $0.18 daily at April 2026 CKB price. Mining CKB is speculative accumulation at modest daily cost, not a profitable daily operation. The Binance listing provides a more credible exit path for accumulated tokens than most niche mining targets. Daily loss in Low Power Mode ($0.32) is roughly the cost of a piece of fruit.
CK Box (1.05 TH/s, 35 dB, original, half the CK Box II). CK Box II (2.1 TH/s, 35 dB, dual mode, this product). CK Lite (6.3 TH/s, 55 dB, next step with 20 dB noise increase). CK5 (12 TH/s, 80 dB industrial). CK6-SE (17 TH/s, 80 dB). CK6 (19.3 TH/s, 80 dB industrial flagship). The CK Box II is the ceiling of 35 dB silent CKB mining. Stepping to the CK Lite triples hashrate but crosses into audible noise requiring a closed door at minimum.
CK Box at 1.05 TH/s and approximately 215W, no low power mode. CK Box II at 2.1 TH/s and 400W, plus Low Power Mode at 1.54 TH/s and 260W. The CK Box II exactly doubles default hashrate and adds operational flexibility. Same 35 dB, same compact form factor, same universal voltage, same Goldshell firmware and app ecosystem. If both are available, the CK Box II is the straightforward upgrade.
178 x 150 x 84 mm at 2 kg per Bitcoin Merch, Amazon, and ASIC Marketplace. MM lists 198 x 150 x 96 mm and 2.2 kg which appears to be incorrect based on cross referencing. Roughly the size of a hardcover book. External PSU adds separate space but standard PC PSUs are compact. Sits on any desk, shelf, or countertop.
Four step setup. Connect external PSU to CK Box II and plug PSU into any 100 to 240V outlet. Connect Ethernet cable to router or switch. Find miner IP through Goldshell finder tool, router DHCP, or network scanner. Open web interface, select power mode (Default 2.1 TH/s or Low Power 1.54 TH/s), configure Eaglesong pool URL and CKB wallet address. Goldshell mobile app supports iOS and Android. Total setup approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
Major CKB Eaglesong pools accept CK Box II hashrate including F2Pool, DxPool, 2miners, and SparkPool variants. NiceHash Eaglesong marketplace provides an alternative selling hashrate for Bitcoin. Pool fees typically 1 to 3 percent. At 2.1 TH/s against current CKB network hashrate, pool mining is the only practical approach for revenue consistency. Solo mining produces extremely infrequent block finds.
Sources vary. Bitcoin Merch and Amazon list 5 to 45 degrees Celsius at 5 to 95 percent humidity. CryptoMinerBros lists 0 to 35 degrees Celsius at 0 to 65 percent humidity. ASIC Marketplace lists 5 to 35 degrees Celsius. For warm climate safety, treat 35 degrees Celsius as the practical ceiling and keep the unit in air conditioned space during hot months. For cold climate deployment, operation down to 0 to 5 degrees Celsius is supported.
Yes. Each unit operates independently with its own PSU and Ethernet. In default mode at 400W each (plus PSU overhead), a standard 15 amp 110V circuit (1,800W capacity) supports approximately 3 to 4 units. In Low Power Mode at 260W each, the same circuit supports 5 to 6 units. Configure all to the same pool and wallet. Four default mode units produce approximately 8.4 TH/s aggregate, exceeding the CK Lite (6.3 TH/s) at quieter collective noise.
MM body copy references WiFi and Goldshell app compatibility. Bitcoin Merch and Amazon spec sheets list only Ethernet. CryptoMinerBros mentions the Goldshell app without specifying WiFi. Goldshell Box series products have mixed WiFi support depending on model and firmware version. Verify WiFi capability with MillionMiner for the specific batch. For stable mining, wired Ethernet is preferred.
Minimal. Quarterly dust wipe of chassis and fan grille(s). Monitor hashrate through Goldshell web interface or mobile app for degradation. No coolant, no filters, no internal servicing. Released December 2022, units have over three years of established field reliability data. 6 month Goldshell warranty on new units through authorized distributors.
The CK Box II is not profitable at April 2026 conditions but offers several advantages over other niche mining options. CKB trades on Binance, providing real exit liquidity most niche mining targets lack. RGB++ protocol gives Nervos a Bitcoin ecosystem development thesis beyond pure token speculation. Dual power mode lets operators manage daily electricity cost ($0.50 to $0.77) during extended low revenue periods. The CK Box II delivers 17 percent more hashrate than the iBeLink BM-N3 Mini at the same 35 dB. Buy if you want to accumulate CKB speculatively with Binance liquidity as the exit path, or if you value Nervos's Bitcoin interoperability thesis.
Direct competitor at same tier: iBeLink BM-N3 Mini (1.8 TH/s, 295W, 35 dB, more efficient per TH). Within Goldshell CK family for scaling: original CK Box (1.05 TH/s at lower cost), CK Lite (6.3 TH/s, 55 dB mid tier). For cross algorithm niche mining diversification at same 35 dB tier: Goldshell KA Box (1.18 TH/s Kaspa), Goldshell HS Box II (460 GH/s HNS / 1,200 GH/s SC), Goldshell AL Box II Pro (950 GH/s Alephium), Goldshell KD Box II (5 TH/s Kadena). For Bitcoin at home tier: Bitaxe Gamma 601 (1.2 TH/s SHA-256). For Scrypt at quiet home tier: Fluminer L1 Pro (6 GH/s, 45 dB).
