What Scrypt mines. Scrypt is Litecoin's algorithm, and because Dogecoin is merge-mined with Litecoin, a Scrypt miner earns both at once, Litecoin as the primary chain and Dogecoin alongside it on the same work, with no extra power for the second coin. The L11's 35 GH/s is industrial-scale combined Litecoin and Dogecoin output.
Hashrate and efficiency. At 5,775W for 35 GH/s the L11 Hyd 2U runs at 165 J/GH, second only to the SealMiner DL1 on efficiency in our catalog, while packing the highest single-unit Scrypt hashrate into two rack units. Where rack space and cooling are the real constraints, hashrate density decides how much you can deploy per rack and per cooling loop.
The hydro tradeoff, honestly. This is a liquid-cooled unit and it needs a facility built for it, the coolant distribution, manifolds and plumbing. It is not an air-cooled box you drop on a shelf. In return, hydro delivers the density, the quiet 50 dB operation and the stable thermals air cannot match at 5,775W. For a multi-unit deployment the tradeoff favors hydro; for a home or small setup it does not, and an air-cooled Scrypt miner such as the Antminer L9 or the DL1 Air is the better fit.
