The Magicminer BG01 produces 4.5 TH/s of SHA 256 hashrate for Bitcoin mining at 120W. At 960 grams and 285 x 134 x 50mm, it is one of the smallest and lightest Bitcoin mining devices ever manufactured.

4.5 TH/s in the context of Bitcoin's total network hashrate (hundreds of exahashes) produces minuscule mining output. This is not hardware for earning significant daily Bitcoin revenue. The BG01 is designed for three specific audiences: hobbyists who want to own and operate real Bitcoin mining hardware at home, solo mining lottery players who want an always on chance at a full block reward (currently 3.125 BTC), and educators or demonstrators who need physical Bitcoin mining hardware for teaching and presentations.

40 dB is quieter than a typical refrigerator hum. The BG01 runs on a desk, nightstand, or bookshelf without disturbing anyone in the room. 120W is comparable to a bright light bulb. Daily electricity cost at $0.07 per kWh is roughly $0.20. This is genuinely home friendly hardware that operates invisibly in terms of both noise and power.

The BG01 connects via Ethernet for pool or solo mining configuration. 200 to 240V with the PSU included in the box. 5 to 45 degrees Celsius at 10 to 90 percent humidity. The slightly larger BG02 (7 TH/s at 150W) shares the same chassis for buyers wanting marginally higher output at minimal additional power draw.

Multiple BG01 units can stack for linear hashrate scaling if desired. Two units produce 9 TH/s at 240W. The economics still do not approach profitability from pool mining, but for solo mining, doubling the hashrate doubles the probability of independently finding a block.
