MicroBT Whatsminer M56S 212TH Quiet Hydro Cooled SHA-256 Bitcoin Miner at 45 dB

Enhanced bin of the 45 dB hydro platform. The M56S at 212 TH/s pushes 9 percent more hashrate than the M56 (194 TH/s) at the same 5,550W and the same uniquely quiet 45 dB. Better chip grading, more output, identical noise and power. The efficiency champion of the M56 family.

Universal 100 to 240V. Single phase hydro. Water cooled at 45 dB. The M56S occupies a niche that MicroBT abandoned in the M60 generation: quiet hydro. The M66 series runs 50 dB. If 45 dB is a hard deployment requirement, the M56S may be the quietest MicroBT hydro available at any meaningful hashrate.

Daily electricity at $0.07 per kWh: $9.32. Monthly: $280. Same as the base M56 since both draw 5,550W. But 212 TH/s versus 194 TH/s means the M56S produces 9 percent more BTC for identical cost. Always choose the S model when pricing is comparable.
