Hydro Cooling Cabinet for 6 Antminer Hydro Miners with Dry Cooler

Power:

The cabinet, its pump and the miners all run on 380 to 415 V three-phase at 50 or 60 hertz. Six S23 Hydro plus the 0.55 kW pump draw about 33.6 kW, roughly 49 A per phase at 400 V. Your electrician sizes the breaker and cable to that load. Sites in North America with 208 or 480 V need a transformer to step to 400 V.

Over a month, six S23 Hydro use about 24,100 kilowatt hours and the pump adds about 400. What that costs depends on your own rate per kilowatt hour.

Installation in six steps:

• Place the cabinet: indoors on a level floor. It weighs 149 kg and measures 800 x 800 x 1,450 mm, so plan a pallet jack and a door at least 85 cm wide.

• Place the dry cooler: outdoors or in a… well-ventilated hall, with free airflow on all sides. It weighs 170 kg and needs a 1,100 x 1,100 mm footprint.

• Connect the loop: run the supply and return pipes between the cabinet and the dry cooler, and choose single or dual loop mode.

• Fill the coolant: pure or softened water. Where temperatures drop below 0 °C, add antifreeze and a corrosion inhibitor.

• Mount the miners: slide the six Antminer Hydro units into the cabinet and connect their water inlets, outlets and power.

• Start in order: run the pump first, check pressure against the 0.3 MPa design limit and look for leaks, then power on the miners. Coolant should enter the miners at no more than 40 °C and leave at no more than 50 °C.

• Delivery: DDP with duties paid, 12 months manufacturer warranty, setup help until the miners hash.

Maintenance:

• Keep the dry cooler fins free of dust and leaves, check coolant level and pressure once a month, and change the coolant on your antifreeze maker's schedule.
