Bitdeer SealMiner A3 Air 260 TH/s SHA-256 Air Cooled Bitcoin Miner: Standard Bin of the A3 Series With Industry Leading -20 Degree Cold Tolerance

The Bitdeer SealMiner A3 Air produces 260 TH/s of SHA-256 hashrate at 3,640W and 14 J/TH efficiency on Bitdeer's proprietary SEAL02 chip. ±3 percent hashrate and ±5 percent power tolerance. Four cooling fans at 75 dB. 365 x 292 x 197 mm at 15.5 kg (MM spec sheet lists "15 g" which is a typo — body copy correctly lists 15.5 kg). 220 to 277V single phase AC input. Ethernet connectivity. -20 to 45 degrees Celsius operating range (the widest cold tolerance in current air cooled Bitcoin mining hardware). 10 to 90 percent humidity tolerance. Released October 2025 by Bitdeer Technologies (NASDAQ: BTDR). Chip binning within the A3 series. Both the A3 Air and A3 Pro Air use identical SEAL02 silicon from the same Bitdeer production. Manufacturing yields chips with varying performance grades based on frequency achieved at target voltage. Premium grade chips (higher frequency at lower voltage) produce more hashrate per watt; these chips go into the A3 Pro Air achieving 290 TH/s at 12.5 J/TH. Standard grade chips go into the A3 Air achieving 260 TH/s at 14 J/TH. The chassis, cooling system, firmware, fans, heatsinks, and -20 degree cold floor are identical between the two products. Performance difference comes entirely from chip grade selection during manufacturing. Fleet economics decision matrix between A3 Air and A3 Pro Air. The efficiency gap (1.5 J/TH difference on 260 TH/s output) translates to approximately 390W more power draw on the A3 Air than the A3 Pro Air would consume to produce equivalent 260 TH/s. Over 24 hours at $0.08 per kWh, that's approximately $0.75 more daily electricity cost per A3 Air unit versus the equivalent hashrate on A3 Pro Air chips. Over one year, approximately $274 more electricity per A3 Air versus A3 Pro Air. If the A3 Air saves more than $274 in acquisition cost compared to the A3 Pro Air ($4,490 Bitdeer direct), the A3 Air wins on total lifetime economics at $0.08 per kWh. At lower electricity rates, the A3 Air needs to save less in acquisition cost to win. At higher electricity rates, the A3 Pro Air's efficiency advantage grows and justifies more of the acquisition premium. The -20 degree cold floor thesis. Air cooled Bitcoin mining hardware typically specifies operating minimums of 0 to 5 degrees Celsius. Bitmain S21 series, S23 series, and MicroBT M60 series all require 0 degrees or warmer intake air. Canaan's A16 generation extended the cold floor to -5 degrees. The Bitdeer A3 series extends to -20 degrees. For container mining deployments in cold climate regions (Canada: Quebec, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba; United States: Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Alaska; Russia: Siberia; Nordic countries: Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland; Kazakhstan: northern regions; Mongolia), winter ambient temperatures regularly drop below -10 to -20 degrees. Operating miners in these conditions with conventional 0 degree minimum hardware requires intake air heating, which consumes electricity, adds infrastructure cost, and creates operational complexity. The A3 series eliminates this requirement. Year round operation in sub zero climates without heating. Three way competitive comparison at the 234-282 TH/s air cooled tier in April 2026. Bitdeer A3 Air at 260 TH/s, 3,640W, 14 J/TH, approximately $3,200-$3,500 (this product, -20 degree cold floor). Bitmain S21 PRO at 234 TH/s, 3,510W, 15 J/TH, $3,083 (less hashrate, worse efficiency, lowest CapEx, 0 degree cold floor). Bitmain S21 XP at 270 TH/s, 3,645W, 13.5 J/TH, $4,051 (more hashrate, better efficiency, 0 degree cold floor, highest CapEx). Canaan A16 at 282 TH/s, 3,900W, 13.83 J/TH, approximately $3,705 (most hashrate, similar efficiency, -5 degree cold floor). Each miner wins on different dimensions. A3 Air wins on cold climate capability and firmware ecosystem depth. S21 PRO wins on CapEx entry. S21 XP wins on efficiency. Canaan A16 wins on raw hashrate. Choice depends on specific deployment environment and buyer priorities. Bitdeer Technologies as manufacturer. Bitdeer Technologies (NASDAQ: BTDR) is a publicly traded Bitcoin mining company operating across multiple dimensions of the industry: proprietary ASIC chip design (the SEAL program), large scale self mining operations, cloud mining services through the Bitdeer platform, and AI infrastructure services. The vertical integration model is shared with Canaan and MARA (through Auradine partnership) and distinguishes these players from pure hardware manufacturers. SEAL chip generations: SEAL01 (A2 series released 2024, 16.5 J/TH range), SEAL02 (A3 series including this product released October 2025, 12.5-14 J/TH range), SEAL03 (A4 series announced for 2026 availability, 9.45-10.9 J/TH range). Bitdeer's hardware reflects real production environment data from their own mining operations rather than pure laboratory specifications. Economics. MillionMiner calculator at $0.08 per kWh: $9.77 daily revenue, $6.99 daily electricity, +$2.78 daily profit. Monthly: +$83.40. At approximately $3,200-$3,500 acquisition: payback approximately 41-45 months at $0.08 per kWh. At $0.07 per kWh: +$3.59 daily, payback approximately 30-34 months. At $0.06 per kWh: +$4.42 daily. At $0.04 per kWh: +$6.28 daily, payback approximately 18-20 months. Profitable at any electricity rate below approximately $0.11 per kWh at April 2026 BTC price and difficulty. The A3 Air's economics improve meaningfully at industrial electricity rates typical of container mining facilities and hosted deployments. Firmware and fleet management. Bitdeer's proprietary firmware with standard pool management, hashrate monitoring, temperature alerting, and power management features. BraiinsOS+ support for Bitdeer hardware is growing but less mature than for Bitmain Antminer hardware. For fleet management at scale, MiningMaster, Foreman, or similar third party fleet management platforms provide multi brand dashboards. Bitdeer's own fleet tools are designed primarily for their internal mining operations. MillionMiner positioning note. MM's product page mentions securing "early allocation from Bitdeer's production queue." This is meaningful because Bitdeer Technologies has a vertically integrated mining operation that competes with external buyers for hardware allocation. Production queue priority matters for early delivery windows. If the allocation claim is accurate, MillionMiner buyers can secure A3 Air units before broad distributor availability. Ships from MillionMiner with miner, PSU, power cables, quick start guide, Bitdeer manufacturer warranty (typically 180 days), and free DDP worldwide delivery.

Bitdeer SealMiner A3 Air 260 TH/s: The Standard Bin Alternative to the A3 Pro

The Bitdeer SealMiner A3 Air produces 260 TH/s of SHA-256 hashrate at 3,640W and 14 J/TH
efficiency on Bitdeer's proprietary SEAL02 chip. Released October 2025 by Bitdeer
Technologies (NASDAQ: BTDR). The standard bin alternative to the flagship A3 Pro Air (290
TH/s, 12.5 J/TH). Bin variant economics with the A3 Pro Air. Both models share identical silicon, chassis, cooling
system, firmware, and voltage requirements. The A3 Pro Air uses premium grade SEAL02 chips
achieving 290 TH/s at 12.5 J/TH (the efficiency leader in air cooled Bitcoin mining as of April
2026). The A3 Air uses standard grade SEAL02 chips achieving 260 TH/s at 14 J/TH. The A3
Pro Air sells at $4,490 Bitdeer direct. The A3 Air pricing is not yet published on Bitdeer's official
shop (listed as "Stay tuned") but will likely land at approximately $3,200-$3,500 based on the
$13 to $15 per terahash pattern visible across Bitdeer's current product lineup. The A3 Air is the
value bin within the A3 lineup. When A3 Air wins versus A3 Pro Air: electricity rate matters. At cheap power (below $0.04 per
kWh), the efficiency gap between 14 and 12.5 J/TH produces small daily electricity differences
(1.5 J/TH over 260 TH/s at $0.04 per kWh is approximately $0.37 daily). Lower A3 Air
acquisition cost lets operators deploy more units for the same budget, producing higher
aggregate fleet hashrate. At expensive power (above $0.07 per kWh), the A3 Pro Air's efficiency
advantage compounds daily and the price premium pays for itself over deployment duration.
The breakeven depends on specific electricity rate, deployment horizon, and CapEx constraints. -20 degree cold floor is a distinctive advantage. The A3 series (both A3 Air and A3 Pro Air)
operates down to -20 degrees Celsius ambient, the widest cold tolerance in current air cooled
Bitcoin mining hardware. Bitmain S21 series miners require 0 to 5 degrees minimum. Canaan
A16 generation requires -5 degrees minimum. For container deployments in Canada (Quebec,
British Columbia, Alberta), Russia (Siberia), Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Finland,
Iceland), and other sub zero climates, the A3 Air operates year round without intake air heating
infrastructure. At equivalent facility CapEx, the A3 Air delivers more operational flexibility than
any competing air cooled Bitcoin miner. Competitive positioning at the 260 TH/s air cooled tier. A3 Air at 260 TH/s, 3,640W, 14 J/TH,
approximately $3,200-$3,500 (this product). Bitmain S21 PRO at 234 TH/s, 3,510W, 15 J/TH,
$3,083 (less hashrate, worse efficiency, lower CapEx). Bitmain S21 XP at 270 TH/s, 3,645W,
13.5 J/TH, $4,051 (more hashrate at similar efficiency, higher CapEx). Canaan A16 at 282 TH/s,
3,900W, 13.83 J/TH, approximately $3,705 (more hashrate at similar efficiency). The A3 Air's
differentiating advantage is the -20 degree cold floor no competitor matches. For temperate and
warm climate deployments, the Canaan A16 or S21 XP may be more economical. For sub zero
climates, the A3 Air's cold climate capability is worth a premium. Bitdeer Technologies context. Bitdeer Technologies (NASDAQ: BTDR) is a vertically integrated
Bitcoin mining company operating its own proprietary silicon design (the SEAL program)
alongside large scale mining operations across multiple continents. SEAL01 (A2 series, 16.5
J/TH). SEAL02 (A3 series including this product, 12.5-14 J/TH). SEAL03 (A4 series announced,
9.45-10.9 J/TH). Bitdeer's hardware is informed by real production environment data from their
own mining operations. 365 x 292 x 197 mm at 15.5 kg. Four cooling fans. 75 dB. 220 to 277V single phase. -20 to 45
degrees Celsius. 10 to 90 percent humidity. Ethernet connectivity.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

260 TH/s SHA-256 at 3,640W and 14 J/TH efficiency on Bitdeer's proprietary SEAL02 chip. ±3 percent hashrate and ±5 percent power tolerance. Released October 2025 by Bitdeer Technologies (NASDAQ: BTDR). This is the standard bin variant of the A3 series. The A3 Pro Air (290 TH/s, 12.5 J/TH, $4,490) is the premium bin from the same chip production line.

Same chassis, cooling, firmware, voltage, and -20 degree cold floor. The only difference is chip binning. A3 Air at 260 TH/s, 3,640W, 14 J/TH, approximately $3,200-$3,500 (this product, standard bin). A3 Pro Air at 290 TH/s, 3,625W, 12.5 J/TH, $4,490 (premium bin). The A3 Pro Air delivers 11.5 percent more hashrate at 10.7 percent better efficiency at approximately 28-40 percent higher CapEx. For fleet buyers, the A3 Air wins when low electricity costs minimize the efficiency gap's daily impact. The A3 Pro Air wins at higher electricity rates or longer deployment horizons where efficiency compounds.

A3 Air at 260 TH/s, 3,640W, 14 J/TH, approximately $3,200-$3,500. S21 XP at 270 TH/s, 3,645W, 13.5 J/TH, $4,051. The S21 XP produces 3.8 percent more hashrate at 3.6 percent better efficiency at higher CapEx. The A3 Air differentiates on cold climate capability (-20°C vs 0°C on S21 XP). For temperate and warm deployments, the S21 XP may win on pure economics. For sub zero climate deployments, the A3 Air's cold floor advantage is worth the efficiency tradeoff.

A3 Air at 260 TH/s, 3,640W, 14 J/TH. S21 PRO at 234 TH/s, 3,510W, 15 J/TH, $3,083. The A3 Air produces 11 percent more hashrate at 6.7 percent better efficiency. Daily profit at $0.08 per kWh: A3 Air at +$2.78 versus S21 PRO at +$1.37. The A3 Air generates approximately twice the daily profit of the S21 PRO at slightly higher CapEx. Plus the -20°C cold floor advantage. For similar CapEx tier, the A3 Air is the technically superior air cooled option.

A3 Air at 260 TH/s, 3,640W, 14 J/TH, approximately $3,200-$3,500. Canaan A16 at 282 TH/s, 3,900W, 13.83 J/TH, approximately $3,705. The A16 produces 8.5 percent more hashrate at 1.2 percent better efficiency at similar CapEx. The A3 Air has -20°C cold floor versus A16's -5°C. For temperate deployments, the A16 wins on raw output. For sub zero climate container deployments, the A3 Air's -20°C capability enables winter operation the A16 cannot sustain without intake heating.

The widest cold tolerance in current air cooled Bitcoin mining hardware. Competing Bitmain S21/S23 series require 0 to 5 degrees minimum. Canaan A16 requires -5 degrees. The A3 series (both A3 Air and A3 Pro Air) operates down to -20 degrees. For container mining deployments in cold climate regions (Canada, Russia, Nordic countries, northern US states, Kazakhstan, Mongolia), winter ambient temperatures regularly drop below -10 to -20 degrees. Conventional 0°C minimum hardware requires intake air heating, which consumes electricity and adds infrastructure cost. The A3 Air eliminates this requirement. Year round operation without heating.

SEAL02 is Bitdeer's second generation proprietary Bitcoin mining ASIC. Used in the A3 Air (standard bin, 14 J/TH, this product) and A3 Pro Air (premium bin, 12.5 J/TH). Chip grade within SEAL02 determines which product receives which chips. SEAL02 replaced SEAL01 (used in A2 series at 16.5 J/TH efficiency). SEAL03 is the next generation powering the upcoming A4 series (9.45-10.9 J/TH). Bitdeer's in house chip design provides hardware control that pure distribution manufacturers do not have, informed by operational data from Bitdeer's own mining fleet.

15.5 kg. MM's spec sheet lists "15 g" (15 grams) which is a typo — a 15 gram miner would be physically impossible given the 365 x 292 x 197 mm chassis containing multiple hashboards and power delivery components. MM's body copy correctly lists 15.5 kg. Every distributor source (Asic Marketplace, Apexto, Yesmining, DCE Miner) confirms 15.5 kg. Update the MM spec sheet from "15 g" to "15.5 kg."

Yes. MillionMiner calculator at $0.08 per kWh: +$2.78 daily ($9.77 revenue minus $6.99 electricity). Monthly: +$83.40. At $0.07 per kWh: +$3.59 daily. At $0.06 per kWh: +$4.42 daily. At $0.04 per kWh industrial rate: +$6.28 daily. Payback at approximately $3,200-$3,500 acquisition: 18-20 months at $0.04 per kWh, 30-34 months at $0.07 per kWh, 41-45 months at $0.08 per kWh. Profitable at any electricity rate below approximately $0.11 per kWh at April 2026 BTC price and difficulty.

220 to 277V single phase AC. No 110V support. At 3,640W on 220V draws approximately 16.5 amps (fits standard 20A circuit). At 240V draws approximately 15.2 amps. At 277V draws approximately 13.1 amps. Industrial and commercial electrical service required. Not compatible with standard North American 110V residential outlets.

75 dB from four cooling fans. Standard industrial ASIC noise comparable to the Bitmain S21 series and Canaan A16. Some distributor sources (X-ON Mining) note the A3 Air runs "3-4 dB quieter than typical air-cooled models" due to Bitdeer's fan and airflow design optimizations, so effective noise may be closer to 71-72 dB under normal operating conditions. Requires dedicated mining space: warehouse, container, or professional hosting. Not suitable for residential or office environments.

Every major SHA-256 pool. Foundry USA, AntPool, F2Pool, ViaBTC, Braiins Pool, Luxor, OCEAN, and all SHA-256 compatible pools. Standard Stratum protocol. No hardware compatibility restrictions.

Bitdeer manufacturer warranty, typically 180 days. BT-Miners' product page contains a copy-paste error referencing "Bitmain" warranty terms on this Bitdeer product; verify actual warranty duration with MillionMiner at purchase. Covers manufacturing defects and hardware failures under normal operating conditions.

Yes. MillionMiner hosting facilities accept Bitdeer SealMiner hardware. At $0.07 per kWh hosted rate: +$3.59 daily profit per unit. At $0.05 per kWh industrial rate: +$5.45 daily. Hosting eliminates facility noise, cooling, and 220V+ infrastructure requirements. The -20 to 45 degree operating range allows container deployment in cold climate facilities without aggressive intake heating, which MillionMiner's hosting operations in northern Europe can leverage.

The A3 Air is the value bin in Bitdeer's A3 generation. Buy if: you plan container mining deployment in sub zero climate regions (Canada, Russia, Nordic countries, northern US states) where the -20 degree cold floor eliminates intake heating requirements, you want Bitdeer SEAL02 silicon at lower CapEx than the A3 Pro Air ($4,490), you value Bitdeer's vertical integration with operational data informing hardware design, or you need more hashrate and better efficiency than the Bitmain S21 PRO ($3,083) at similar CapEx tier. Consider the A3 Pro Air if you want peak efficiency (12.5 J/TH) in Bitdeer's air cooled lineup. Consider the Canaan A16 ($3,705) if your deployment is in temperate climate and raw hashrate (282 TH/s) per dollar matters more than cold floor capability. Consider the Bitmain S21 XP ($4,051) if firmware ecosystem maturity (BraiinsOS+, Vnish) is important.

Within Bitdeer lineup: A3 Pro Air (290 TH/s premium bin, $4,490), A2 Pro Air (260 TH/s previous gen, 14.9 J/TH), A2 Pro Hydro (500 TH/s hydro, 14.9 J/TH, $6,900), A3 Pro Hydro (660 TH/s hydro, 12.5 J/TH, $9,900). Competing air cooled: Bitmain S21 XP (270 TH/s, $4,051), Bitmain S21 PRO (234 TH/s, $3,083), Canaan A16 (282 TH/s, $3,705), Canaan A16XP (300 TH/s flagship). Hydro alternatives: Bitmain S21 XP Hydro (473 TH/s, $6,899), Bitmain S21+ Hyd (319 TH/s, $3,137), Auradine Teraflux AH3880 (600 TH/s, US made). For fleet diversification: Bitmain KS7 (45 TH/s Kaspa), Bitmain L9 (17 GH/s Scrypt).
