ElphaPex DG1 Plus 14GH Air Cooled Scrypt ASIC Miner for Litecoin and Dogecoin

ElphaPex positioned the DG1 Plus at 14 GH/s as their mid industrial Scrypt offering, splitting the gap between the DG1 at 11 GH/s and the DG2 at 16 GH/s. What makes this noteworthy is the direct comparison with VolcMiner: the D1 Lite also produces 14 GH/s but at 4,150W. ElphaPex delivers the same hashrate at 200W less power.

3,950W on 200 to 240V. No 110V compatibility. At 220V draws about 18 amps on a dedicated 20 amp circuit. 75 dB industrial noise. Merged mining for Litecoin, Dogecoin, and Bellscoin from the same 14 GH/s. Three coins simultaneously without splitting hashrate.

Daily electricity at $0.07 per kWh: $6.64. Monthly: $199. Substantial, but Scrypt merged mining revenue from three coins at 14 GH/s can cover operating costs at reasonable LTC and DOGE prices. The merged mining math adds 20 to 40 percent above single coin revenue.
