Two modes. Default: 1.8 TH/s Eaglesong at 295W and 164 J/TH. Low Power Mode: 1.3 TH/s at 185W and approximately 142 J/TH. Switch between modes through the iBeLink firmware interface. Default mode maximizes hashrate; Low Power Mode reduces electricity cost by 37 percent while retaining 72 percent of hashrate, useful during periods when CKB revenue is marginal.
Low Power Mode reduces chip voltage and frequency to 1.3 TH/s at 185W. Use it when daily CKB revenue does not justify the 295W default draw. At $0.08 per kWh, default mode costs $0.57 daily versus Low Power Mode at $0.36 daily. Since both modes are currently unprofitable at standard residential rates, Low Power Mode stretches your CKB accumulation budget further by reducing the daily electricity loss from approximately $0.41 to approximately $0.25. The Goldshell CK Box II (2.1 TH/s, the closest competitor) does not offer a comparable low power option.
Nervos is a Layer 1 proof of work blockchain using the Eaglesong algorithm. Built as a "Common Knowledge Base" for cross chain interoperability. Uses a cell model inspired by Bitcoin's UTXO. The RGB++ protocol bridges Bitcoin's RGB protocol to Nervos, enabling Bitcoin Layer 2 asset issuance and smart contracts that settle to both chains. CKB is listed on Binance, Crypto.com, and Gate.io with meaningful token liquidity. Nervos positions differently from most altcoins: proof of work consensus, Bitcoin interoperability focus, and programmable UTXO architecture.
35 dB from two cooling fans. Below the threshold where most people consciously register background noise. Quieter than a whisper (40 dB). The BM-N3 Mini operates in bedrooms, home offices, shared living spaces, and apartments without anyone noticing it is running. The industrial BM-N3 at 74 dB requires dedicated mining space. The BM-N3 Mini runs next to a laptop without acoustic disruption.
CK Box II at 2.1 TH/s Eaglesong, 35 dB desktop. BM-N3 Mini at 1.8 TH/s default / 1.3 TH/s Low Power, 35 dB desktop. The CK Box II delivers approximately 17 percent more hashrate in a single mode with Goldshell's mobile app ecosystem. The BM-N3 Mini offers the Low Power Mode flexibility the CK Box II lacks, useful for managing electricity cost during marginal revenue periods. Both sit at the same acoustic and voltage tier. For operators valuing Goldshell ecosystem and app, the CK Box II fits. For operators valuing dual power mode flexibility, the BM-N3 Mini fits.
BM-N3 at 25 TH/s, 3,300W, 74 dB. BM-N3 Mini at 1.8 TH/s, 295W, 35 dB. The industrial model delivers approximately 14 times more hashrate at industrial noise, 220V+ circuits, and dedicated mining space. Same iBeLink Eaglesong chip architecture at different operating points. The BM-N3 Mini targets home environments; the BM-N3 targets mining facilities. No crossover between the deployment scenarios.
At standard residential electricity rates, no. MillionMiner calculator at $0.08 per kWh: -$0.41 daily in default mode, -$0.25 daily in Low Power Mode. Revenue approximately $0.15 daily at April 2026 CKB price and network difficulty. Mining CKB on the BM-N3 Mini is a speculative accumulation strategy: accept a modest daily electricity cost as the price of accumulating CKB tokens for potential future appreciation. The daily loss is small ($0.25 to $0.41 depending on mode) relative to the speculative exposure to CKB ecosystem growth.
Universal 100 to 240V AC input. Default mode at 295W draws approximately 2.7 amps at 110V. Low Power Mode at 185W draws approximately 1.7 amps at 110V. Both modes fit any standard residential outlet worldwide without dedicated circuits. At 220V: approximately 1.3 amps default, 0.8 amps low power. The BM-N3 Mini runs cheaper monthly in electricity than a basic streaming subscription.
170 x 88 x 178 mm at 2.1 kg. Smaller than most home routers, wireless access points, and cable modems. Fits in a palm. Sits on any desk, shelf, windowsill, or countertop alongside consumer electronics without visual disruption. The compact footprint allows deploying multiple units in a small space: four BM-N3 Mini units occupy approximately the same shelf space as one Bitmain Antminer.
iBeLink and most distributor documentation specifies 0 to 40 degrees Celsius at 0 to 65 percent humidity. MM lists 5 to 45 degrees Celsius at 10 to 90 percent humidity which differs from the manufacturer specification. The 40 degree ceiling means warm climate deployments (UAE, Gulf region, unventilated attics) need air conditioning to stay within range during peak summer. The 0 degree floor supports cold climate deployment without facility heating.
Nervos (CKB) is the primary and by far the largest Eaglesong proof of work network. The BM-N3 Mini can also sell Eaglesong hashrate through NiceHash marketplace, receiving Bitcoin in exchange for contributed hashrate. NiceHash may offer marginally better returns than direct CKB mining during certain market conditions. No other Eaglesong networks currently attract meaningful mining participation.
MillionMiner lists PSU in the box contents. However, Viperatech explicitly states "PSU: Not included" and Amazon listings note "NO PSU INCLUDED" for some Goldshell Box series equivalents. Verify PSU inclusion directly with MillionMiner before ordering. If PSU is not included, a standard external DC power supply rated for 295W+ with the correct voltage and connector is required.
Three step setup. Connect PSU (if external) or power cable to the BM-N3 Mini and plug into any 100 to 240V outlet. Connect Ethernet cable to router or switch. Find miner IP through router DHCP, iBeLink IP finder, or network scanner. Open web interface, select power mode (Default 1.8 TH/s or Low Power 1.3 TH/s), configure Eaglesong pool URL and CKB wallet address. Total setup approximately 10 minutes for first time miners.
Major CKB Eaglesong mining pools accept BM-N3 Mini hashrate including F2Pool (merged CKB mining support), DxPool, 2miners, and SparkPool variants. NiceHash Eaglesong marketplace provides an alternative where you sell hashrate for Bitcoin. Pool fees typically 1 to 3 percent. At 1.8 TH/s against current CKB network hashrate, solo mining produces extremely infrequent block finds. Pool mining is the only practical approach.
iBeLink, a Chinese ASIC manufacturer operating since 2016. Originally focused on Decred and Siacoin ASICs before expanding to Eaglesong (Nervos CKB) as a primary product line. iBeLink's industrial BM-N3 (25 TH/s, December 2022) established the company as the leading Eaglesong hardware manufacturer. iBeLink also produces the BM-K3 Mini for Kadena mining. Smaller manufacturer than Bitmain or Goldshell but established track record in niche algorithm hardware.
Yes. Each unit operates independently with its own power and Ethernet connection. At 295W default mode, a standard 15 amp 110V circuit (1,800W capacity) supports six BM-N3 Mini units (1,770W total). In Low Power Mode at 185W each, the same circuit supports nine units. Configure all units to the same pool and wallet for consolidated revenue. Six default mode units produce approximately 10.8 TH/s aggregate, approaching half the industrial BM-N3's output at whisper quiet collective noise.
Modestly. Default mode at 295W produces approximately 1,006 BTU per hour, roughly equivalent to a small lamp or phone charger cluster. Insufficient to meaningfully heat a room by itself. In Low Power Mode at 185W, even less heat output. Unlike higher wattage miners (Bitmain S21 XP at 3,645W producing 12,441 BTU per hour), the BM-N3 Mini does not produce enough thermal energy for practical heating supplement. The low power draw is an advantage for warm climate deployment but a non factor for cold climate heating strategies.
MillionMiner accepts BM-N3 Mini units for hosting, though hosting economics at 295W generating approximately $0.15 daily revenue are extremely challenging. Hosting fees and electricity would likely exceed mining revenue at any realistic rate tier. Hosting makes economic sense only for industrial Eaglesong hardware (BM-N3 at 25 TH/s) where daily revenue justifies facility costs.
The BM-N3 Mini is not a profitable mining investment at April 2026 conditions. It loses money daily at any commercially realistic electricity rate. Buy the BM-N3 Mini if: you want to accumulate CKB tokens at minimal daily cost ($0.36 to $0.57) as a speculative bet on Nervos ecosystem growth, RGB++ adoption, or CKB price appreciation; you want a functional desktop CKB miner for educational purposes or network participation; you value the Low Power Mode flexibility over the Goldshell CK Box II's fixed mode operation. The daily loss is small enough that many operators treat it as a subscription to CKB exposure rather than a mining profit center.
Within CKB Eaglesong mining: Goldshell CK Box (1.05 TH/s, 35 dB desktop entry) and Goldshell CK Box II (2.1 TH/s, 35 dB desktop with higher hashrate). For cross algorithm niche mining diversification: Goldshell KA Box (1.18 TH/s Kaspa, 35 dB), Goldshell KD Box II (5 TH/s Kadena), Goldshell AL Box II Pro (950 GH/s Alephium), iBeLink BM-K3 Mini (5 TH/s Kadena from same manufacturer). For Bitcoin mining at home tier: Bitaxe Gamma 601 (1.2 TH/s SHA-256 solo lottery), NerdMiner NerdQaxe++ (4.8 TH/s). For Scrypt merged mining (LTC/DOGE) at quiet home tier: Fluminer L1 Pro (6 GH/s, 45 dB) or Fluminer L3 (9.5 GH/s, 45 dB).
