A HydroMiner is a water-cooled ASIC miner. Instead of high-RPM fans, an internal cold plate sits directly on the hashboards, and a closed water loop carries chip heat out to an external radiator or CDU. That one change shifts three things at once: noise drops to ~50 dB (vs 75–85 dB on air), efficiency improves 15–20% because cooler chips run at lower voltage, and rack density rises 3–5× because 3U hydro units stack far tighter than air chassis.

The CDU or dry cooler feeds cooled water (~30–40°C) to the supply manifold at the head of the rack — the start of the loop.

The manifold divides flow to every miner. Each connects with tool-free quick-disconnect fittings — push on by hand, no leaks.

Water flows through a cold plate bonded directly to the hashboard chips, absorbing heat and leaving 10–20°C warmer.

Warm water from all miners gathers in the return manifold as one combined stream, headed back toward the CDU.

The CDU dumps that heat outside via a dry cooler — with near-zero fan power in cold weather, then the cycle repeats.
