Product Details

Bitmain Antminer E9 2.4GH EtHash Miner for Ethereum Classic Mining

Two generations behind on Ethash. The E9 at 2.4 GH/s and 1,920W was superseded by the E9 Pro (3.68 GH/s, 2,200W) which was superseded by the E11 (9.5 GH/s, 2,200W). Each generation roughly doubled or tripled output. The E9 produces one quarter of the E11 output at 87 percent of the power.

At roughly 800 J/GH, the E9 is among the least efficient Ethash ASICs from Bitmain. The E11 at 232 J/GH is 3.4 times more efficient per gigahash. The E9 burns electricity for ETC mining at a rate that only near zero acquisition cost can justify.

1,920W on universal 100 to 240V. 75 dB industrial. Daily electricity at $0.07 per kWh: $3.23. Monthly: $97. Bitmain Antminer firmware. Ethernet. Standard Ethash Stratum for ETC pools.

The E9 exists in the market because hardware depreciates in value faster than it depreciates in function. The unit still mines ETC. It just mines less efficiently than everything released after it. At the right price on cheap power, it captures ETC tokens. At the wrong price, it burns electricity for losses.

195 x 290 x 400mm at 14.2 kg. 12V input. Ethernet. 5 - 40 °C. Bitmain firmware. Daily electricity $3.23 at $0.07 per kWh. Monthly: $96. Compare against Ethereum Classic revenue at 2.4 GH/s.

Purchase the Antminer E9 when the math works: 2.4 GH/s of Ethereum Classic mining revenue minus $3.23 daily electricity times deployment period exceeds hardware cost. Run the numbers with current Ethereum Classic data.

Antminer E9 2.4GH Proven ETC Miner

Original Bitmain E9 at 2.4 GH/s Ethash and 1,920W on 12V DC. Below the E9 Pro (3.68 GH/s) and current E11 (9.5 GH/s). Two generations behind. Deep discount for ETC accumulation at minimal acquisition cost.

Air cooled at 75 dB. Ethereum Classic. Bitmain firmware. 195 x 290 x 400mm at 14.2 kg. Ethernet. 5 - 40 °C.

Industrial 75 dB. Dedicated facility. Plan for 1920W heat exhaust.

Bitmain firmware for pool management. Compare pricing versus competitors. Total fleet hashrate determines production. Model conservatively with current data.

Industrial 75 dB demands dedicated mining space. Warehouses, containers, purpose built rooms. Plan ventilation for 1920W (6547 BTU/hr) heat per unit.

Bitmain firmware for pool configuration. Evaluate pricing against competitors. Total deployed hashrate determines production.
