Bitmain Antminer L9 Hyd 2U 27 GH/s Water Cooled Rack Mount Scrypt Miner for Litecoin and Dogecoin

The Bitmain Antminer L9 Hyd 2U produces 27 GH/s of Scrypt hashrate at 5,670W in a 2U rack mount chassis with water cooling. It is the previous generation to the L11 Hyd 2U (35 GH/s), offering lower acquisition cost at reduced performance.

The standout specification is the 100 to 240V universal power input. Most hydro miners require 380 to 480V three phase. The L9 Hyd runs on standard single phase power available in virtually any building worldwide. For facilities without three phase electrical infrastructure, this is one of very few hydro Scrypt miners that can deploy without electrical upgrades.

A 42U rack holds 21 L9 Hyd 2U units, producing 567 GH/s at approximately 119 kW per rack. The newer L11 Hyd 2U produces 735 GH/s per rack. The L9 delivers 23 percent less per rack hashrate, but at lower per unit cost. For operations upgrading from L9 to L11, the same 2U format and similar water connections allow mixed racks during gradual fleet transitions.

Water cooling at 50 dB is significantly quieter than the 75 dB air cooled L9 and L11 models. Scrypt merged mining for Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Bellscoin (BEL). 445 x 88 x 670mm at 20 kg. Ethernet. temperature rated 5 to 45 degrees C, standard humidity range.

Bitmain's Antminer firmware ecosystem applies to the L9 Hyd. Same management interface as other Antminer products for consistent fleet monitoring and configuration. Technicians familiar with any Antminer model can deploy and maintain L9 Hyd units without retraining. Third party firmware options may also be available for extended optimization.
