At 17.0 J/TH, the S21e Hyd is a mid generation machine. Current flagships like the S23 Hydro achieve 9.5 J/TH. But not every operation needs or can afford top tier hardware. The S21e Hyd fills the mid range bracket for facilities that already have hydro cooling infrastructure and want to expand hashrate at a lower acquisition cost per unit than the S23 series.
