The Goldshell AE Box produces 37 MH/s of zkSNARK hashrate for mining on the Aleo blockchain. At 198 x 150 x 95mm and 2.3 kg, it is one of the smallest ASIC miners ever built for any algorithm. It fits in the palm of your hand and barely occupies desk space.

Aleo is a privacy focused blockchain that uses zero knowledge proofs (zkSNARKs) for its proof of work consensus. Mining Aleo means generating these cryptographic proofs, which requires specialized hardware. The AE Box was Goldshell's first product targeting this algorithm, proving that zkSNARK mining could be accessible for home users rather than exclusive to GPU farm operators.

At 35 dB noise and 360W power draw, the AE Box runs quietly on a standard household outlet. WiFi and Ethernet dual connectivity lets you place it anywhere with a power outlet rather than tethering it to a router with an Ethernet cable. PSU is included in the box.

The AE Box sits below the AE Box Pro (44 MH/s) and AE Box 2 (54 MH/s) in Goldshell's Aleo lineup. It is the original and lowest cost entry point.
