IceRiver built the AL3 as their answer to Bitmain's AL1 Pro, and the comparison defines both machines. The AL3: 15 TH/s at 3,500W and 75 dB on 220V. The Bitmain AL1 Pro: 16.6 TH/s at 3,730W and 35 dB on 220 to 270V. Bitmain wins on hashrate, efficiency, and crushes on noise. IceRiver competes on pricing.
That noise gap matters. The AL1 Pro at 35 dB runs anywhere. The AL3 at 75 dB needs a dedicated mining room, warehouse, or hosting facility. If you already operate loud ASICs, the 75 dB is irrelevant and the AL3's price advantage is pure margin. If you need quiet operation, the AL3 is disqualified regardless of cost.
15 TH/s of Blake3 makes this one of the highest output dedicated Alephium ASICs available from any manufacturer. For commercial Alephium mining operations, the AL3 represents serious production capacity. Daily electricity at $0.07 per kWh runs about $5.88. Monthly: $176.
220V only. No 110V compatibility. At 3,500W the unit draws roughly 15.9 amps at 220V, manageable on standard commercial circuits. 16.5 kg. Ethernet connectivity. IceRiver firmware with web management interface. 5 to 40 degrees operating range.
Four manufacturers now compete in industrial Alephium mining: IceRiver (AL3 at 15 TH/s), Bitmain (AL1 Pro at 16.6 TH/s, AL1 at 15.6 TH/s), Goldshell (AL Max at 8.3 TH/s), and DragonBall (A40 at 3.3 TH/s). The AL3 sits second in raw output behind the AL1 Pro. Pricing and availability determine which model offers the best return on investment.

Industrial noise at 75 dB requires dedicated mining space. Warehouses, mining containers, or specifically isolated rooms. Not suitable for any shared environment. Plan ventilation and sound management for the facility.
