IceRiver KS0 100GH Original Desktop KHeavyHash Miner for Kaspa (KAS)

The device that started it all for Kaspa ASIC mining. The IceRiver KS0 at 100 GH/s and 65W was the first mass market dedicated Kaspa miner when it launched in 2023. Before the KS0, Kaspa mining meant GPU rigs. After it, the entire KHeavyHash mining market transformed.

65W on a 19 to 20V DC adapter. Daily electricity at $0.07 per kWh: $0.11. Monthly: $3.30. Annual: $40. The KS0 costs less per year in electricity than a single dinner out. At 40 dB, it runs on any desk next to your keyboard without disturbance.

The KS0 has since been superseded by the PRO (200 GH/s, 100W) and Ultra (400 GH/s, 100W). Both produce more Kaspa at similar or slightly higher power. But the original KS0 holds historical significance as the device that launched dedicated Kaspa mining, similar to how the Bitmain S1 launched Bitcoin ASIC mining.

For new buyers, the KS0 Ultra or KS0 PRO are the obvious upgrades. The original KS0 makes sense only at steep discount or as a collector item from the early Kaspa ASIC era. At $3.30 monthly, running it costs essentially nothing regardless.
