Bottom rung of IceRiver's industrial Kaspa ladder. The KS5L at 9 TH/s is the entry bin in a series that scales through 10, 11, and 12 TH/s, all sharing the same 3,400W power draw and 75 dB noise. What separates the bins is chip quality from the manufacturing process, nothing more.
This creates a straightforward buying calculation: price per terahash. If the 9 TH/s model costs 25 percent less per unit than the 12 TH/s top bin, deploying more 9 TH/s units per dollar may produce more total fleet hashrate. If the price difference is small, the higher bins waste less electricity per KAS mined.
