The MicroBT Whatsminer M70S produces 226 TH/s at 3,140W on 220 to 240V single phase. Mid bin in the M70 air cooled series. Same 430 x 155 x 226mm chassis at 13.5 kg as the M70S+ (top) and M70 (base).

Efficiency at approximately 13.9 J/TH, between the M70S+ at 12.9 J/TH and the M70 at 14.7 J/TH. The mid bin position typically offers the most attractive cost per terahash ratio: meaningfully better efficiency than base at a smaller acquisition premium than top.

The 220 to 240V single phase requirement keeps the M70S accessible to standard commercial buildings and dedicated residential mining setups without three phase electrical. For small mining operations running 5 to 20 units, the ability to deploy on existing power infrastructure avoids the significant cost of upgrading to three phase service.

At 3,140W per unit, each machine produces roughly 10,700 BTU of heat per hour. Room ventilation or HVAC must account for total heat output across all units. Even a 10 unit setup generating 31.4 kW of heat needs proper exhaust planning.
