MicroBT Whatsminer M70S+ 244 TH/s Air Cooled 220V SHA 256 Bitcoin Miner

The MicroBT Whatsminer M70S+ produces 244 TH/s at 3,140W on 220 to 240V single phase power. It is the top bin model in the M70 series, MicroBT's standard voltage air cooled tier. Unlike the M72 series (380 to 480V three phase), the M70 series runs on the same single phase power available in most commercial and some residential buildings.

Efficiency at approximately 12.9 J/TH, the best in the M70 air lineup. For comparison, the Canaan Avalon A16XP achieves 12.8 J/TH on 220 to 277V. The M70S+ is competitive with Canaan's flagship on efficiency while requiring a narrower voltage range.

The 220 to 240V requirement means the M70S+ works on standard circuits in most countries outside North America. In North American facilities with 240V outlets (common in commercial spaces and available via NEMA 6 outlets in residential settings), it also operates without transformers or three phase infrastructure.

At 430 x 155 x 226mm and 13.5 kg, the M70S+ is the most compact chassis in the M70 generation. Lighter than the M72 series (25.5 kg) and dramatically lighter than the M79 immersion tier (37 kg). For operations scaling with shelf or rack placement in ventilated rooms, the smaller footprint means more units per physical area.
