The VolcMiner D1 Hydro produces 33 GH/s of Scrypt hashrate at 9,300W through water cooling in a 2U rack mountable chassis. At 0.28 J/MH, it matches the Bitmain L11 HU6 (also 33 GH/s) in raw output, creating a direct two horse race at the top of the current Scrypt hydro category. The comparison matters. The L11 HU6 achieves better efficiency (0.18 J/MH vs 0.28 J/MH) at lower power (5,940W vs 9,300W). The D1 Hydro draws significantly more power for the same hashrate. Where the D1 Hydro may compete is on acquisition price and availability. When Bitmain stock is constrained or priced at a premium, the D1 Hydro becomes the alternative path to 33 GH/s of Scrypt capacity. 380V three phase power.
